Background Information

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a Dental Specialty that requires additional years of Hospital-Based Surgical and Anesthesia training after graduation from Dental School. As a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Bruno manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Bruno practices a Full Scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Dental Implant surgery and Wisdom Tooth removal to Corrective Jaw and Facial Cosmetic Surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Dr. Bruno has been serving the Canton area since 2007. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and completed Residency Training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Bruno is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association & Stark County Dental Society. Dr. Bruno is on Active Staff at Mercy Medical Center, Massillon Affinity Hospital, Aultman Hospital, Aultman North & West Outpatient Surgery Centers.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Surgical Staff

Our surgical staff are experienced, Oral and Maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
